Q: Still ‘doing’ those good deeds?

N: Of course.

Q: You’re being a hypocrite.

N: No, I’m doing good deeds.

Q: Thinking about them does NOT count.

N: I resent that. I don’t just think. I can prove it. This morning an old lady tripped in a puddle in front of me.

Q: Oh, you helped her up?

N: No.

Q: Gave her your handkerchief?

N: No.

Q: Did you at least ask her if she was okay?

N: No.

Q: Great. What DID you do?

N: It’s more about what I DIDN’T do.

Q: Okay what DIDN’T you do?

N: Step on her.
